A Day in the Life of a Tudor Merchant

There are stalls along most of the streets in this area, but the main part of the market where you would expect to find the vintner is along Corn Street. So you turn right (west) at the High Cross at the top of Corn Street.

Corn Street is full of busy traders. You pass the church of St Werburghs that looms over the street, but you see no sign of the merchant you're supposed to be dealing with.

You remember that you've had nothing to eat today and it must be lunchtime by now. There are lots of taverns and places to eat in the market, but you usually go to the Angel Inn on High Street where you know the landlady.

So you turn left at the bottom of Corn Street and head along St Nicholas Street towards the Angel.
