BAC in Time
Are you a Meadows or a Meader?
Who’s Iris Meader got staying in her house?
Why does Rose Meadows not want to enter the Football Pools?
What’s that on the conveyer belt?
Our very own community soap opera is back! Keeping the tradition alive of telling true stories of people who have lived, worked, and grown up in Filton, Patchway and Southmead that are then woven into a theatre show and performed live by local residents.
Our next performance, Meadows to Meaders 6, BAC in Time will be directed by Craig Edwards and has been made possible with Stronger Together funding from South Gloucestershire County Council and ongoing and much appreciated support from Southmead Development Trust and Aerospace Bristol. It will focus on local stories from 1940s wartime to 1970s around the BAC, the Brabazon and the lost village of Charlton as well as memories of Concorde’s early flights.
Our amazing cast will be performing Meadows to Meaders 6; BAC in Time inside the Aerospace Concorde hangar itself to create an immersive experience. With a special appearance by Travelling Kitchen.

Meadows to Meaders 5, Fab Living on the Mead was performed in Southmead, focusing on the 81 post World War II prefabs secreted in Badocks Wood where now only a handful of photos remain. Having built the prefabs, the BAC is at the heart of this story, but we knew that there was more to tell.
Save the date! Be transported BAC in Time on the evening of Friday 8th May 2026 -VE Day. Meadows to Meaders 6, BAC in Time will be performed at Aerospace Bristol Museum at 7pm. Tickets will be available soon from the Aerospace Bristol Museum.
